Explore the standard operating procedures for colloid mills
一、 Check before startup
Check the appearance of the equipment, pipelines, valves, cooling system, and materials that need to be ground.
Check for loose or damaged parts of the entire machine's components; Confirm that the inlet and outlet are open and closed smoothly, and that the circulation pipeline is connected properly without leakage; Connect the cooling water, confirm smooth circulation, normal water pressure, normal mechanical seal cooling, and prevent excessive temperature during grinding; The grinding material should be filtered in advance, and it is strictly prohibited for stones, metal shavings, hard glass blocks, and large impurities to enter the grinding chamber to avoid damaging the moving fixed grinding disc.

二、 Adjustment of grinding disc clearance
Adjust the gap according to the material fineness requirements:
-Coarse grinding and large particle materials: increase the gap
-Fine grinding, 60-120 mesh ultrafine powder: reduce the gap
After the gap adjustment is completed, lock the positioning handle to prevent running and uneven fineness during work.

三、 Start up trial operation
1. Before powering on, ensure that all personnel stay away from the operating parts of the equipment and do not reach near the feeding port.
2. Start up first and feed later (the core principle of colloid mill is to prohibit starting with material).
3. Start the machine by tapping to confirm that the motor is turning in the correct direction, running smoothly, without any abnormal noise, and without severe vibration.
After 10-20 seconds of normal operation without load, add a small amount of water or medium to the hopper to lubricate the grinding chamber and avoid dry grinding and damaging the grinding disc.
