Heating mixing tank is a highly versatile equipment. In the food and beverage industry, it is used for the blending, sterilization, and insulation of dairy products, juices, and seasonings; In the chemical and daily chemical industries, it is used for mixing and reacting raw materials for coatings, resins, and cosmetics. When selecting, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as material characteristics, process temperature and time, hygiene level, production scale (ranging from 50L to tens of cubic meters), and available heat sources.
The equipment has a reasonable structural design, advanced technology, durability, and features simple operation and convenient use. It is an ideal equipment with low investment, fast production, and high returns.
The heating methods for mixing tanks are flexible and diverse, mainly including jacket heating and coil heating. The jacket can be filled with thermal oil or water as a heating medium, which can be heated by an inserted electric heating rod or external circulating hot oil to achieve uniform heat transfer without cold zones.
According to the different heat sources and structures, there are several types of heating mixing tanks, each with its own advantages and disadvantages:
1.Electric heating mixing tank: using electric energy as the main heat source, environmentally friendly, safe, and easy to install, but the heating speed may be slower than steam heating, and the energy consumption is relatively high.
2.Steam heated mixing tank: using steam to heat through a jacket, with fast heating speed and high cleanliness, especially suitable for hygiene grade production such as food, but requires a supporting boiler and a large initial investment.
3.Coil heating mixing tank: Install coils inside the tank or use semi-circular coils externally, with steam or heat transfer oil flowing through the tubes. The inner coil tube has fast heat exchange and uniform heating, but it will occupy space inside the tank and is inconvenient to clean; The outer half tube does not occupy the volume inside the tank and has good pressure resistance, but it requires high welding requirements.
The installation of the mixing tank should ensure that the foundation is level and firm, and electrical and pipeline connections should be made by professionals. When using, it is necessary to strictly follow the working pressure and temperature specified on the nameplate, and overloading is strictly prohibited. Regular maintenance is crucial, including checking the lubricating oil of the gearbox, cleaning the heat exchange pipeline, ensuring lubrication and cooling of the mechanical seal, and thorough cleaning and maintenance of the equipment before long-term shutdown.
