Belt conveyors are widely used in the food, chemical, daily chemical, agricultural, industrial and mining, and transportation industries to transport various solid block and powder materials or finished items. Conveyor belts can transport continuously, efficiently, and at large angles.
Conveyor belts are divided into PVC conveyor belts, PU conveyor belts, plastic chain plate conveyor belts, stainless steel mesh chain conveyor belts, PTFE conveyor belts, and stainless steel chain plate conveyor belts according to their materials.
How to choose conveyor belt material:
1. PVC/PU lightweight conveyor belts have similar appearances and are suitable for conveying food, express delivery, and small items.
-PVC tape: cheap in price, mostly used for express sorting, packaging assembly lines, and ordinary light industrial products. Anti slip, good flatness, low noise, not suitable for direct contact with food, not resistant to oil.
-PU tape: meets food hygiene standards and can directly come into contact with snacks, fruits and vegetables, rice and noodles, and other ingredients; Resistant to oil stains, good toughness, and easy to clean.
How to choose: For food processing, express delivery, electronic small items, packaging production lines, choose PVC or PU; when in contact with food, be sure to use PU
2. Metal mesh belt/chain plate belt is suitable for high temperature, cleaning, and drying purposes.
Suitable scenarios: cleaning lines, frying lines, high-temperature baking, and working conditions that require ventilation and drainage.
Advantages: High temperature resistance, ventilation and permeability, not afraid of water washing, stable load-bearing capacity.
Disadvantages: Excessive noise, hard surface, easy to scratch soft materials.
How to choose: To wash, dry, and ventilate, choose metal mesh belt/chain plate belt directly.
3. The plastic chain plate conveyor belt is suitable for food assembly lines, packaging sorting, daily chemical transportation, cleaning and drying lines, and turning/climbing workstations.
Advantages: light weight, stable operation, low noise, corrosion resistance, easy cleaning, flexible turning and climbing.
Disadvantages: Not resistant to sharp and hard objects, limited high temperature resistance, high initial investment.
