Horizontal Ribbon Blender With High Mixing Uniformity for Multi‑material Processing


Horizontal mixers are widely used for mixing materials in industries such as chemical, food, compound fertilizers, dyes, pigments, rubber, building materials, diatomaceous mud, refractory materials, rare earths, plastic glass, and new materials, such as solid to solid (i.e. powder to powder) and solid to slurry (i.e. powder to slurry).

The working principle of a horizontal mixer is to arrange double-layer spiral blades on the main drive shaft. When the mixing device is in operation, the inner spiral drives the material near the axis to rotate around the axis, pushing it from the inside to both sides in the axial direction. The outer spiral drives the material near the barrel wall to rotate around the axis, pushing it from both sides to the inside in the axial direction. Under the convective motion of the double spiral belt, the material forms a low-power and high-efficiency mixing environment, allowing the mixed material to be uniformly mixed in a short period of time.
Precautions for installation and commissioning of horizontal mixer:
1. The horizontal mixer should be installed on a horizontal concrete foundation and fixed with anchor bolts.
2. During installation, attention should be paid to the verticality between the main body and the horizontal.
3. After installation, check whether the bolts in each part are loose and whether the main engine compartment door is tightened.
4. Configure power lines and control switches according to the power of the equipment.
5. After inspection, a no-load test should be conducted. Production can only proceed if the test is successful.

4. The top cover is opened, with a beautiful and elegant appearance, and there is no dust flying during operation, without wasting materials.

Horizontal mixer discharge outlet discharge method:
Wall mounted (square) discharge ports are generally available for 100-1000KG. Advantages: Mixing without dead corners.
This type of discharge outlet can be selected for both circular and blade type models. Specification diameter 133-159-219-273. Disadvantage: There is a small amount of material that cannot be stirred.
Butterfly valve type (circular) is suitable for preventing spillage of fine powder or some liquid materials
Butterfly valves can be divided into three switching modes: manual, pneumatic, and electric (the latter two can be automatically controlled)</h2>
The gate valve (square) is driven by a motor to horizontally push and pull the lifting reducer to switch (suitable for automation control)
